Answers before you compare or submit an order.
How many suppliers can I compare?
We currently feature Mercury Energy, True Power, and Constellation β with more suppliers being onboarded. Plans span both electricity and natural gas across multiple deregulated states.
Do I have to enroll to compare?
No. Comparison is free and carries no obligation. Browse plans, use the bill estimator, and only proceed to enrollment when you find a plan that fits your budget and usage.
Which states and utilities are supported?
We support deregulated markets in Texas, Ohio, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington DC. Each state has utility-specific plan matching so results reflect your actual delivery territory.
How does ZIP-based matching work?
Your ZIP code identifies your state and utility territory automatically. In Texas, we also match your ERCOT load zone. In Ohio, plans are organized by PUCO-regulated utility territory. This ensures every plan you see is available at your address.
Is this for both electricity and natural gas?
Yes. You can compare electricity plans (priced in Β’/kWh) and natural gas plans (priced in $/MCF). Use the commodity filter to focus on one or see both together.
What happens after I submit an enrollment request?
An energy advisor reviews your request within 1 business day. They verify account eligibility with the supplier, confirm pricing, and walk you through final enrollment. Your utility still handles delivery and billing.
Are there any fees to use the marketplace?
There is no cost to compare plans. Some supplier plans may include enrollment fees β these are always shown transparently in the plan details before you enroll.
Can businesses use this too?
Absolutely. Toggle to Business mode to see commercial-eligible plans with contract terms designed for business accounts, including authorized signer fields and business-type classification.
